LEADERS INSOLUTION Aquaringer Skin Clinc Black Mask Review
Another sheet mask review because I've just been using them so much recently. I've started working and god I'm basically so tired everyday. When you're physically tired and don't get enough rest, it shows up on your face. I already look tired without makeup (yes I go bare faced to work lol), don't want to scare any more people away so I pamper myself almost every other night to make me look more alive.
I've always heard good things about Leaders' sheet masks and a lot of YouTubers seem to highly recommend the aquaringer one but I know the Mela-Tox one is very popular too. My main concern isn't brightening atm but hydration is the main problem so I picked up these instead. There were like the normal aquaringer and the black mask one. At first I didn't really know the difference, but since they both looked really similar and the sales lady recommended this one saying that it's more moisturising, I just went with it.
It contains fresh glacier water from The Alps; known to provide intense moisture. This mask is mainly for hydration purposes but the charcoal element in this mask helps to smooth out pores and clarify the skin texture. Free of mineral oil, alcohol, paraben and artificial colours also.

MUJI Sensitive Skin Sheet Mask Review
Yes I've changed my blog name and URL and I hope you guys like it~ I changed it because I was getting bored of my old one and tbh my old one was a random one I made up on the spot based on my veryyyy old username for Tumblr LOL >.<
Anyway, MUJI is known for their aesthetic afffff products with minimalistic designs and colours but still made with high quality (their pens are to die for, my whole pencil case is full of them). Their skincare range has been released for quite some time now but just like how PokemonGo took ages to hit the UK, I didn't get to try this until ages T__T. It is split into "sensitive skin" and "high moisture" which I think is a bit stupid because what are all the oily girls gonna do to combat their oils huh???
The sensitive skin range is targeted towards skin that is prone to irritation and dryness as well as those looking for products high in water content. Natural moisturising agents are used such as grapefruit seed extract and purslane. It is also paraben, mineral oil, dyes, and alcohol free.

[ SUMMER SKINCARE ROUTINE 2016 ] - Combination Dehydrated Skin
Heck, having combo and dehydrated skin is probably the worst combination ever, like as if combination skin type on its own isn't already annoying to deal with. My skin gets dehydrated from time to time and it's usually nothing too major and goes away quite quickly but it's just a very annoying condition to deal with T__T This is just what works well for my skin currently so that it becomes brightened again and a lot less sensitive. I prefer keeping my routine simple especially when it's dehydrated because of the sensitivity. This means eliminating things that work for my pores because it seems to be too harsh atm :(

Mamonde Rose Water Toner Review
A quick post because it's only toner and toner's are either hit or misses. When I saw this it reminded me of the rose bubble tea I used to have and the cute pink packaging can sweep any girl off her feet. The design of this is very simplistic; a plastic pink bottle with a label over it. I was actually more intrigued by the 90.89% rose water ingredient replacing regular water, I mean that's almost everything >.< There's 250ml of products in this but you can buy one that's double the size as well. 250ml is actually quite a lot of product, considering usually the toners I use are only about 150-180ml so this can actually last a while. Rose water is famous for its calming and soothing properties so anyone with irritated and sensitive skin will benefit from this a lot.
Upon opening this the you can smell the roses and it's such a nice refreshing smell, but it doesn't give you a headache or anything. It's basically like water but smells amazingggggg <3 This product claims to soothe and provide deep hydration. Personally for me, it's perfect for soothing my skin and great for spritzing on your face in the summer but in terms of hydration it's no different to just cleaning your face with water and doesn't hydrate. Although it does wipe off excess cleanser really well effortlessly. If I'm lazy in the morning I usually use this to wipe my face as well because it cleanses well like micellar water and gives my skin a quick boost in the morning. It doesn't dry my skin but it doesn't exactly provide "deep hydration" either.
This didn't break me out and in fact soothed the parts of my skin that were sensitive and calmed down some redness that I have whenever my skin gets sensitive. Therefore I believe this would help people suffering from acne or the occasional pimple.
RATING:
What's your favourite toner?

TONYMOLY The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Essence Review
Yeah I don't have an excuse for being away for quite a while, I just haven't been in the mood to blog or had anything I thought was worthy of blogging about. But I am back and hopefully there'll be more posts coming soon. The TONYMOLY Chok Chok Green Tea line is a new line and I wanted to try it out because it contains green tea and it gives me a chance to try out products from TM. Green tea as you all probably know have soothing and antioxidant properties :P Not to mention "chok chok" gives it away that this product is going to be a moisturising and nourishing one since that's what it means in korean. It's suitable for all skin types.
"The essence contains the moisture of fermented green tea cultivated by sunlight, wind and nature throughout four seasons. The fermented green tea ingredient that goes through one year natural fermentation process keeps skin moisturised and healthy as it delivers excellent antioxidant & moisture storing effects to skin compared to fresh green tea. The highly concentrated moisturising essence helps quench skin's thirst as it delivers moisture deep into skin." - TONYMOLY

Simple Kind To Skin Replenishing Rich Moisturiser Review
Superdrug: £3.99 |
I like making reviews about moisturisers and cleansers because you can almost immediately tell whether they work on your skin. You don't have to wait for weeks to start seeing effects like serums and all the other stuff.
Recently my skin has become a lot drier and a lot more sensitive and the cream that I was using just wasn't giving me enough hydration and actually irritated my skin slightly. I literally went ham buying creams whilst I was shopping one day (have enough supplies for the rest of the year LOL) >.<

The SAEM - Power Ampoule Hydra Hyaluronic Acid-5 Review
My skin was needing some extra moisture due to the cold ass British winter and I've yet to try anything containing hyaluronic acid; an ingredient known to retain more moisture than any other natural or synthetic polymer. By having this ingredient, the skin barrier will strengthen and help making your skin plump and radiant as well as fight against ageing. This only contains 3 ingredients (I kid you not!), which is always a bonus since a lot of ingredients within a product is often bad or contain irritants. The fact that this only contains 3 ingredients decreases the likelihood of irritating sensitive skin. The ingredients: Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrolysed Hyaluronic Acid & Butylene Glycol.
The Power Ampoule Line contains 6 different products that helps counteract the most common skin concerns - moisture loss, enlarged pores, anti-wrinkle etc.

The Face Shop Vitamin E Face Mist Review
Very quick post so I can get this out of the way and make others aware of this product - not many reviews about this. Apart from Korean beauty products my next go to place for skincare / body care is, of course, The Body Shop. I usually go towards the seaweed series for my skin because it's the most suitable for combination skin types, but recently my skin has become drier to the weather and so I decided to head to the more moisturising series - vitamin E. I wanted to pick up a face mist as a quick pick-me-up during the day and thought I'd get it because of its rosewater containing ingredient. Rosewater is great for calming the skin.
This claims to instantly refresh and give the skin some moisture boost, it could also be used as a setting spray for your makeup as well. To be honest, any face mist would make your more refreshed considering you're spraying liquid onto your face, so I thought it was needless and pointless to say that it's refreshing lol. What I was paying attention for was the amount of moisture this gave me after spraying it.
It smells like baby wipes which I don't mind but it can be very pungent when sprayed too near. The spray strength is quite strong like it just spritz onto your face and surprises you rather than a slow landing onto the skin if that makes any sense at all? My skin usually doesn't react to many products but for this it did. It started stinging on the apple of my cheeks and made my overall face feel sticky. The fact that even my face reacts to this suggests that it is not for all skin types like TBS claims. In fact, I even recommend sensitive lovelies to stay away. I don't like it when my face feels sticky so after one use I was already shoving it to one side, therefore, it's a waste of money really. Thank god my Innisfree Green Tea Mist is on its way~ ^^ I haven't used this to set my makeup because I usually don't find the need to so I'm not sure whether it's good for that purpose. It does refresh the skin but personally, that's what happens if you spray shit on your face, like you could dump a bucket of water on yourself and call that "refreshing". As for moisture, I find it's best to pat in the product after you spray it on to prevent it from evaporating and the difference is massive. Yes, it does give slightly more moisture but the negatives outweigh the positives way too much that I definitely won't repurchase it again.
Pros
- Provides slight moisture
Cons
- Stings face
- Sticky
- Expensive for 100ml
- Spray strength too strong
Thanks for reading my short post and have a good day lovelies <3

SkinFood Peach Sake Emulsion Review
My exams have finally finished for this semester and I am free for a good week! Unfortunately after this week, I'll be drowning in work again T__T Hopefully during this week I'll be able to have some reviews and outfit posts scheduled so I'm not too inactive in the blogging world ;P
One of SkinFood's popular skincare line for people with large pores, the Peach Sake Emulsion claims to "eliminate shine from enlarged pores and excessive sebum production with finest sake and peach extracts". Basically, this is a pore refining product whilst keeping oils balanced.
First of all, I'm not sure if people are familiar with the term 'emulsion' in terms of skincare so I'll briefly explain. An emulsion is basically a light moisturiser / lotion, where people tend to use after toning their skin. Emulsions are often used by those with oily / combination skin types due to its lightweight texture and won't clog up the pores whilst locking in moisture. That's not to say other skin types won't benefit from emulsions as well. Personally, I think emulsions are a better option for the daytime especially if you apply makeup after as well - you don't want the skin to feel too heavy.
Whilst some people follow the cleanser -> toner -> emulsion -> serum -> cream routine, this doesn't mean you can't swap some steps around, some people like to use an emulsion after treatments as well so it's really up to you and what your skin likes. For reference, I use my emulsion as the last step in my daytime routine and second to last for night time. Keep in mind these are just the basic steps of the Asian skincare routine - 5 steps is already long I know >.<

Etude House Moistfull Collagen Cream Review
It's winter and your skin is thirsty af so moisturisers are your best friend even more so than any other season. All the moisturisers that I've tried have always been so greasy and it just feels horrible. My skin doesn't suit rich creams because most often than not I will break out. I've heard so much rave about this product because of it's nourishing effects, but being the weird person that I am, I don't tend to buy into highly raved products until much later >.< There are also other versions of this cream; flower, aloe and super collagen I believe. I think the aloe one has soothing properties so better for sensitive / acne skin whereas the super collagen I assume is richer?

COSRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid Review
If you've followed my blog for a while since it's become more active compared to when I first made it, you'll know that I suffer from a lot of blackheads. Like no, not a few blackheads you get, my nose looks like a strawberry literally. I've tried multiple products to counter my blackheads but most have either shown to be ineffective or break me out - one more thing to sort out ayyyy
What is BHA?
From my knowledge correct me if I'm wrong, BHA's (Beta-hydroxy acid) are oil-soluble chemical exfoliants that help to smooth out the pores, and minimise blackheads as an alternative way to exfoliate the skin without the harshness you get from physical exfoliation. These are acidic that matches the skin's pH to help keep the texture of the skin smooth and polished to brighten up the complexion overall. BHA's work well with AHA's as well but you can use it on its own too and it can be just as effective. If there's no reason for you to use an AHA then I don't see the point in using it - save your money for other skin needs.
AHA's do roughly the same thing but are water-soluble and because this post is mainly about BHA, I won't go into detail for AHA.
Claims
This specific product claims to reduce blackheads and control sebum secretion as well hydration. I was really looking forward to using this as I read a lot of reviews about its amazing effectiveness against blackheads >.<
*NOTE: Please check the ingredients of this before using in case of allergies
When to use
After cleansing (as close to the bare skin as possible) and after your vitamin C serum if you use one. If you do use a serum containing vitamin C, wait for 20-30 minutes before applying the BHA so that the acids do not neutralise each other and make it ineffective. This is of a pH level of 4 if anyone wanted to know. Remember to incorporate this into your routine SLOWLY as you don't want to irritate your skin and create even more problems e.g. breakouts. Start with maybe 2-3 times a week, then 4-5 etc.

Mamonde Jasmine Honey Sleeping Mask Review
Happy New Year's Eve! This year sure flies by fast, we're already nearing 2016 any one prepared for the new year yet? :D
Sleeping masks are an effective way to replenish lost moisture and just to give your skin some loving. Also, it's a great option to take if you're lazy like me and cba to wash it off before you go to bed ^^ I've only ever tried the Laneige water sleeping pack prior to this so I will be comparing this to the popular product. There's also a rose honey one that's targeted for anti-wrinkle so I went for this one which is for brightening purposes.

Holika Holika Ampoule Sheet Mask From Nature - Ceramide + Honey Review
Hello lovelies, hope you all had a lovely Christmas with family and loved ones. Anyone ready for the new years in a few days time? :P
I've recently rediscovered my love for sheet masks, very late in comparison to other beauty bloggers I know. But back when I was in my early teens my skin was fairly good and wasn't really lacking anything (perks of being young T__T), hence why I thought sheet masks were pretty much so-so in their effectiveness for my skin at the time. However my skin has changed a lot since then and have found that sheet masks deliver fast results and provide intense hydration, no matter what skin concerns they target.
Within this series, there are 5 variations; mostly brightening properties. The Ceramide + Honey mask promises to deliver intensive moisture and nourishment to the skin. With honey extracts, a common ingredient for brightening and moisturising, it makes a perfect pick-me-up for those with dry / dehydrated skin. Those with oily / combination skin types can still use this but I think the former skin types will benefit more from these properties.

SkinFood Lavender Tea Sea Salt Mask Foam Review
One of my readers asked me to review this so here you are~ ^^
I'm usually really careful with cleansers, not because I have sensitive skin but most cleansers that I've tried tend to be too drying and strip my natural face oils a bit too much. With a toner that is even more stripping following that as well definitely hurts my skin a little, however it's quite pricey hence why I've still continued to use it up considering it doesn't break me out.
It's not uncommon for Korean products to have such long names, but sometimes their names can be quite misleading as well. You'd assume that this is a mask considering it has "mask" within the name but don't be fooled, this is more of an exfoliator / cleanser if anything >.<

Yeah I've been shopping quite a lot recently for skincare products, but tbh when am I not? Haha ;P

Elizavecca Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask Review
I was looking for a new wash off mask when I came across this and thought it was quite interesting. As the name suggests, it bubbles up on your face and gives your skin a real good cleanse.
According to Memebox this is a "deep-cleansing makeup remover and pore cleanser in one! With its special formulation of charcoal powder, it deeply penetrates the pores to thoroughly get rid of deep-seated dirt while supplying proper nutrients to keep the skin healthy and supple. It not only cleanses, refines and tightens pores but it also helps control excessive sebum which usually causes the pores to be clogged."
Just like clay masks usually are this is grey, but what I didn't expect was the jelly form of this product - looks like those alien jelly things (if you know what I'm talking about, you a cool 90s kid or anything before that). This contains commonly used ingredients for refining pores, extracting dirt and calming properties: green tea extracts, aloe vera leaf extract, matcha powder charcoal powder, pomegranate extract just to name a few that most people will be familiar with. I'm not sure how to describe the scent of this but it's fresh lol >.<

Korean Beauty Haul #1 | SkinFood, Cosrx, It's Skin & Etude House
I've tried Korean skincare before and it certainly did wonders for my skin, so I decided to have more in stock. Apart from the dullness and dark circles that I have, my skin has become more dry due to the cold air in Britain, which is the reason why I bought more hydrating products this time round.

Secret Key Snow White Cream Review
![]() |
YesStyle: £8.01 |
I assume the company named it 'Snow White' to describe your complexion to be the "fairest of them all" like the traditional fairytale went. It's probably one of the few Korean beauty products that doesn't have a long name (thank god!)
